By creating awareness of self-help, mutual aid, and public support to strengthen support throughout the communi-ty, we can create a society that is resilient to disasters and free of traffic accidents and crime.A town with a responsibility for the futureThrough collaboration and co-creation, as well as partnerships with diverse entities, we are working on measures effectively and efficiently. Administrative and fiscal reforms are also being promoted so that we can make the best use of our limited financial resources.安全で安心してくらせる環境づくりを進めています。災害に強く、交通事故や犯罪のない社会のため「自助」「共助」「公助」の全てのレベルでの意識づくりと、連携の強化に取り組んでいます。「協働」と「協創」、またさまざまな主体とのパートナーシップによって、効果的かつ効率的に施策に取り組んでいます。また、限られた財源の有効活用のため、行財政改革を進めています。15消防団の活動Fire brigade activities地域防災の担い手である消防団の活動環境の充実や資機材などの装備強化に取り組み、活動の活性化を推進しています。交通安全教室Traffic safety workshop幼少期から交通ルールを順守することの大切さを教え、誰でも安全に外出を楽しめるまちを目指しています。ふるさと納税広報写真撮影の様子Hometown tax donation program PR photo shoot寄付（ふるさと納税）への返礼品として特産品などを贈呈しています。寄付金はまちづくりの各分野に有効活用されています。海外姉妹都市交流Overseas sister city relationship中学生が姉妹都市であるカナダのスコーミッシュ市と交流しています。コロナ禍ではオンラインで実施されました。
